GARY LIU HAS OVER 15 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE OWNING AND OPERATING COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE.

Mr. Liu is a Managing Partner of Miramar Labs. Miramar Labs is focused on acquiring existing life science buildings and assets suitable for life science conversions in targeted high demand submarkets of Northern California and San Diego.

Prior to Miramar Labs, Mr. Liu was the Managing Partner and co-founder of Lab Space Realty LLC where he focused on the acquisition, financing, conversion, and leasing of office and R&D properties into class A life science facilities in key biotechnology markets. Prior to founding Lab Space Realty LLC in 2020, Mr. Liu invested in and repositioned various multifamily & office properties on his own account and aided the capital raise efforts for a life science incubator developer and an institutional multifamily developer with over 5,000 units under management. At around the same time, Mr. Liu was also the CEO of a timber export company.

Mr. Liu began his real estate career at Rockwood Capital working in the capacity of acquisition and asset management of all major asset types and at Banc of America Securities structuring credit facilities, subscription lines, and term loans for REITs, private equity real estate funds, and homebuilders. Mr. Liu is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
